Thinklab Group recently welcomed students from various secondary schools to its main office in Abuja, following the three-day Children Leadership Conference organized by Children of Africa Leadership and Values Development Initiative- Caldev (NCLC).

The students, members of the Children Parliament, were thrilled to visit ThinkLab Group, a leading construction company renowned for its international standards, innovative projects, and expertise in development and finance. They were eager to learn about the company’s mentorship programs for young leaders.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by the Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Sa’id Alkali Kori, and other staff members. After introductions, they embarked on a guided tour of the office, followed by refreshments and an interactive session with the GCEO.

During the session, some students sought advice and tips from Dr. Kori on achieving success. He shared inspiring stories from his early and mid-life career, offering valuable insights on becoming successful. Dr. Kori⁩ pledged Thinklab Group’s support for students’, children’s, and youth development opportunities.

Notably, he announced plans to allocate 1% Zakkat of it turnover which is equivalent to hundreds million if not even billion, because zakkat it’s around 2.5%, and we are trying to take 1% of the 2.5% and put it in Thinklab Charity Foundation . As this year alone we had over ten thousand scholarships for JAMB, WAEC and NECO, across all the areas where we operate, including Niger state, yobe and other places. And we also had quite enough of donations to construction of hospitals, construction of schools and so on. We believe we want to really double our efforts come 2025. We want to truly invest in younger generations and I hope that we will also look into it.

Dr. Kori presented gifts to the students as a token of appreciation.

Participating schools included:

– Shallara Secondary School

– Police boys secondary school

El-Kanemi College of Islamic Theology, Maiduguri

AL-ANSAR ACADEMY, MAIDUGURI, BORNO STATE

Future Prowess Islamic Foundation

The students were accompanied by their teachers and guardians, Mr. Feama Usman, Kalli Kori, and Mr. Galadima Usman Adamu.

This visit underscores Thinklab Group’s commitment to empowering young leaders and contributing to Nigeria’s future development.
