
In a remarkable demonstration of commitment to education and youth empowerment, Thinklab Charity Foundation , an initiative of Thinklab Group Limited under the leadership of Dr. Sa’id Alkali Kori, has presented a sponsorship cheque for the JAMB registration of 795 outstanding students across public secondary schools and Nursing and midwifery students comprises Male and Female up to One hundred (100) students
in Yobe State.
The event, held at the Shehu Sule College of Nursing and Midwifery Damaturu Yobe State, was graced by key government officials, education stakeholders, school principals, teachers, parents, and students. Delivering his speech, the Director Project North East Dr. Abba Damuna accompanied by Arc. Mustapha Gambomi and Eng Usman, he emphasized that education is a tool for transformation and development.
Dr Abba Damuna highlighted that financial constraints should never be a barrier to success, reaffirming the foundation’s mission to support bright and deserving students.
Dr. Damuna stated that, This year’s sponsorship extends to the 15 best-performing students from each public secondary school in Yobe State, across 17 L.G.A for ensuring that those talented individuals have the opportunity to pursue higher education without financial hindrance.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the state government, the Executive Secretary Yobe Scholarship Board Dr. Abba Kagu , expressed profound appreciation for Thinkab Charity Foundation’s efforts.
He commended Dr. Sa’id Alkali Kori for his unwavering support towards education and youth empowerment, pledging the state government’s continued partnership with the foundation.
“Our doors are always open for collaborations, especially in youth training and entrepreneurship. We are ready to provide maximum support to ensure sustainable educational and economic growth in Yobe State,” the ES stated.
As the ceremony concluded, Thinklab Charity Foundation reaffirmed its call for collective responsibility in advancing education. The foundation urged the government, private organizations, and individuals to support similar initiatives to create a brighter future for all.
“Every great achievement starts with an opportunity. Today, we provide that opportunity, and we look forward to seeing these students rise to greatness,” Dr Damuna stated.
The event was attended by the Director of Schools, school principals, teachers, parents, and other distinguished guests, all of whom applauded the initiative and its impact on the future of education in Yobe State.
