Thinklab Group Limited has kicked off its 2024 end of year strategy session, aimed at highlighting the organization’s overall yearly report and projecting goals for 2025. The session brings together various departments, Strategic Business Units (SBUs), and Project Managers to align objectives and showcase progress.
The Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Sa’id Alkali Kori, delivered a comprehensive address, highlighting the organization’s achievements in 2024. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, innovative thinking, and strategic planning in driving Thinklab Group’s success. Dr. Kori also evaluated the organization’s progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and outlined key lessons learned. He concluded by emphasizing the need for continuous improvement and encouraged staff to strive for excellence in the upcoming year.
The Group Managing Director, Dr. Babagana Mohammed Adam, warmly welcomed everyone to the session and urged staff to align their objectives with the organization’s overall strategy. He emphasized the importance of setting clear goals, prioritizing tasks, and working collaboratively to achieve success. Dr. Babagana encouraged staff to showcase their progress, share best practices, and provide clear projections for 2025. He stressed that the organization’s growth and development depend on the collective efforts of its staff.
The session featured presentations from various departments, including:
1. Head of Corporate Services and team
2. Head of Legal Department and team
3. Head of Internal Audit and control and team
4. Head of ICT Department and team
5. Head of Coms. Department and team
Each team highlighted their 2024 overall report, showcasing achievements, challenges, and lessons learned. They also provided clear projections for 2025, outlining strategic objectives, key performance indicators, and action plans.
Followed by facilitation and team building activities by Abubakar Bello, a renowned facilitator, led an engaging session on the importance of delegation in achieving operational effectiveness. He emphasized that effective delegation is critical to driving growth, improving productivity, and developing staff capabilities. Bello shared practical tips and strategies for delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and providing feedback. He encouraged staff to adopt a delegation mindset, empowering team members to take ownership of tasks and projects.
The session included breaks, followed by barbecue, games, and team-building activities. These activities aimed to foster collaboration, creativity, and camaraderie among staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
The session concluded for the day and will continue tomorrow, with a focus on aligning objectives, setting clear goals, and working collaboratively to drive Thinklab Group’s success in 2025.
