Reporting Line: Group Head of Legal

We are committed to ensuring regulatory compliance and legal excellence in all our operations and are seeking a Legal & Compliance Specialist to strengthen our team.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
- Implement, and review compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company policies align with legal requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits.
- Provide legal guidance on governance and regulatory affairs.
- Specifying internal governance polices and regularly monitor compliance
- Conduct compliance training and awareness programs.
- Ensure (internal & external) compliance with laid down guidelines, policies, and procedures; investigate issues of non-compliance as may be required.
- Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date with regulations and compliance affecting each subsidiary.
- Perform all task as may be assigned by the Head Legal & Company Secretary
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in legal compliance or regulatory affairs.
- Called to the Nigerian Bar
- Expertise in corporate law, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Professional certification in law or compliance is an added advantage.

- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive and proactive strategies.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret, prepare and apply complex legal documents.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
